If you’re looking for a way to celebrate Halloween, drop into the Egyptian theatre on October 12th for a special 35th anniversary screening of Stephen King’s Pet Sematary. I will be moderating what should be an amazing Q&A with the film’s director Mary Lambert and one of its stars, actor Brad Greenquist.

If you’ve read my book, But Have You Read the Book: 52 Literary Gems That Inspired Our Favorite Films (and if you haven’t you should!) then you’ll notice there’s a lot of movies I couldn’t include. One I’d love to include in any future installments is the 1989 King adaptation of this film. Thankfully, it’ll be well represented in my upcoming book on disability in film coming out next year!
